So, somehow Paul McCartney and Ringo Star decided to come and "rock out" at the Bond household. . .or maybe it was just two wannabes who were experiencing their 15 minutes of fame for the first time. . .that actually might have been how long it took these novices to get through their first song. . .BUT by the end of the night, Sting had nothin' on them!!!!! Rock On!!!!

OH WOW! Look at those Rock Stars!!
Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how much we love playing Rock Band here at the McCord house. We play it a lot, (and when we first got it were nothing short of obsessed! Ross still is actually still a little manic about it). The girlies love it too, (although they're only allowed to sing/play certain songs). But really, there's nothing cuter than watching my adorable Bella singing her seven-year old little heart out into that mic (and getting scores in the mid-nineties), while Fia does a shockingly good job keeping rhythm and rocking out on drums (she's starting to rank in the high seventies! At five years old! On drums! Is it sad that I'm proud of xBox achievements?? I keep telling myself it's good hand-eye coordination. Or something like that. It can only help on the soccer field, right?). =)
Ross just bought (two days ago) Rock Band 2, which I haven't been able to play yet, due to wedding season/being a computer slave, but he (begged?) asked this morning if I'd be able to play tonight, so it looks like I'll be experiencing the glory that is RBII tonight. Can't wait to belt out the new songs...was getting a little sick of singing some of the same songs over and over!
And really, is there anything cuter than Glenda Lyons? Maybe if it's Glenda Lyons playing drums on Rock Band (does your mom age at all?? she looks SO much the same!).
And finally, I'm SO glad to see that despite being in what is almost a fly-over state, that you're still hip enough to play Rock Band. ;)
